about

This EP was released on CD by Attention Attention.

The opening track, "Don't Be Forever", was recorded during the same sessions as our first album in 2011, but was left out to make the album more concise. So we're pleased to get another opportunity to release it.

"Fun Decade" and "Damp Paving" were both recorded at home and are two of the first tracks created as Infinite Particles. Despite being recorded in 2010, these tracks are closer to the direction we are going in now with guitar and synth parts that are more distinct and expressive.

The closing track, "Perhonen I" is a take from our recording sessions in July 2012. A sprawling 12-minute piece that combines evolving pads, digital noise and shimmering, free-flowing guitar sounds. We feel this is our most articulate guitar and synth work so far and look forward to sharing the rest of the session in the form of a new album.
